About Rishi Nityapragya
Rishi Nityapragya (or Rishiji as he is called) is the International Director of Programs and a senior program instructor for the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF), an international non profit organization that is active in more than 150 countries.
Rishi Nityapragyra’s life-long pursuit has been to unravel the mystery of life. From a young age Rishi (a title meaning “seer”) searched for a spiritual master. Rishiji was first introduced to spirituality in 1992 by renowned spiritual leader and Founder of AOLF His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Under Sri Sri’s tutelage, he decided to dedicate his life toward self-realization and toward uplifting society through the propagation of human values. In less than 15 years, he was honored by Sri Sri with the title ‘Rishi’, a rare distinction that is synonymous with the word ‘saint’.
Today, Rishiji addresses an average of 180 public events annually and inspires persons from all sections of society, such as working professionals, students and at-risk youth, political and social leaders, prisoners, and disadvantaged communities.
